Creation of Pakistan - When I see from the Corridor of the History

Creation of Pakistan - When I see from the Corridor of the History
by Hammad Ali Hassan - a Young Pakistani from Faisalabad
Background
When I see from the corridor of the history I see that the Muslim majority of sub-continent found a Land of peace about Fifty eight years ago. The Land which is found by many hardships, by struggle of Muslims leaders & Muslims of sub-continent .The struggle for independent started from 1857, when Muslims defeated by British. The Muslims wanted independence. What kind of independence?
They were independent if they obeyed the orders of British. They offered attractive jobs to the Muslims of the sub-continent if they carry out the orders of British. Mostly the Muslims did lowest level jobs. But the Muslims don't want this because they want a separate country and the British did not like these words such as (independence, separate country, etc) they want their government forever. But the Muslims did not fulfill their desire because separate land was the right of Muslims where Muslims are free to do anything in the boundaries of Islam and in which the Islamic laws adhered.
Role of Leaders
Our leaders like Sir Syed Ahmed KhanAllama Iqbal, Quaid-e-AzamLiaquat Ali KhanMoulana Mohammad Ali Joher, Sardar Abdul Qayum Khan, Ch Rehmat Ali and others struggled for an independent land.
First of all Sir Syed Ahmed Khan started the struggle for an independence country. He observed that Muslims should gain Education which was the way to go forward and then the Muslims would able to demand a separate land. He established a university in which the Muslims could receive the modern education. The Muslims Who Educate in this university were the people who laid a foundation stone of Muslims League in 1906 It was the Organization which gained independence for the Muslims of sub-continent.
Congress Opposition
The congress leaders said that it's impossible but the Muslims did not take the notice. They started their struggle. These following lines are taken from Rafique Ahmed's Book PAKISTAN INDIA RELATION (Prospectus for A Peace).
"In 1940, when all India Muslim League passed the historic Pakistan resolution in the great city of Lahore. Gandhi opposed the demand for partition for partition which was based on the theory that there are two nations in India Gandhi said this theory is wrong there was only one nation in India. The two nation's theory is an untruth. The vast majority of Muslims of India are converts to Islam or descanders of converts. They did not become a separate nation as soon as they become converts Partition means a patent untruth. My whole soul rebels against the idea that Hinduism and Islam represents two antagonistic cultures and doctrines. To assent to such a doctrine is for me denial of God."
Between the dates of the Pakistan Resolution and the birth of Pakistan the Hindu leaders who played important role in the politics of India were Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Jawaherlal Nehru, Vallabhai Patel and Rajhendra Parshad. Such views were challenged some prominent non Muslims as well.
A well known Indian leader B.R.Ambedkar, examined the Pakistan demand at a great length in 1941 and came to the conclusion. It is a question to be considered whether integral India is an ideal worth fighting for. In the first place India remained as one integral whole it never to be an organic whole. India may in name be continued to be known as one country but in reality it will be two countries, Pakistan and Hindustan joined by a forced and artificial union, this will specially so under the stress of Two nation's theory. As it is the idea of unity has had little hold on the Indian world of fact and reality, Little charm for the common Indian, Hindu or Muslim, whose vision is bounded by the valley in which Muslims and Hindus are existing.
Role of Quaid and Iqbal
Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal play important role in the creation of Pakistan. Quaid made truth the dream of Pakistan presented by Allama Iqbal. He knew the sentiments of The Muslims of sub continent. .Quaid gave us an independent land by the will of Allah Almighty. We got Pakistan by the great sacrifice of the Muslims of The sub-continent .Pakistan appears on the map of the world on 14th August 1947.Quaid gave us Pakistan by struggle and hardships. we should also work for our country to make it stronger and better.
Quaid's Vision
Quaid had some vision of Pakistan he desired that Pakistan becomes the greatest nation of the world. Quaid-e-Azam took a major role in the creation of Pakistan. If Quaid had not took part in the Pakistan movement. Then may be we would not have been independent like today.
Creation of Pakistan
The Creation of Pakistan was a desire of every Muslim. Quaid fulfills the desire of Muslims of indo Pak. Students played an important role in Pakistan movement. Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah trusted on the students. Muslim student federation took a part in creation of Pakistan. Quaid knew that the Students help to built up Pakistan a greatest nation of the world. Quaid-e-Azam wanted student to harbour a strong character.
Following was his address to Muslim students at Aligarh in 1942. Quaid said
"build up your character that is more than all the degrees and no character is a mere wastage of time. You should develop a keen sense of honor and duty."
Jinnah said these words but what is there meaning. It means that trust on Allah and then our character will be automatically built up. Quaid said in his speech that to develops a keen sense of honor and duty. Which kind of keen sense of honor and duty, to build up Pakistan. It's the duty of every Muslim to develop a keen sense of honor in the spirit of Pakistan movement.
The Pakistan Resolution is a mile stone in the creation of Pakistan. The Pakistan Resolution was presented on 23 March 1940. After seven years the Muslims got a separate home land Pakistan. When the Muslims got Pakistan The Indian leaders accepted the two nations theory some of the Indian leader said (from Rafique Ahmed's Book PAKISTAN INDIA RELATION (Prospectus for A Peace), Chapter Hindu Leaders Attitude Towards the Creation of Pakistan by Latif Ahmed Sherwani). IN 1947 Patel said that he accepted the two nation's theory. According to a very prominent leader Abdul Kalam Azad, Patel then said that whether we like it or not, there were two nations in India" and that "Muslims and Hindus could not be united in one nation."
Incredible though it might be seen Gandhi himself indirectly admitted that there were two nations in India. Gandhi remained opposed to the demand for Pakistan till early 1947. After he accepted the two nation's theory.
Our Duty as a Pakistani
Quaid-e-Azam gave us a separate home land with other Muslim League leaders by the will of Allah on 14th August 1947. The Muslims got a separate country, where the the Islamic laws are accepted. And the Muslims live in the Islamic atmosphere. So we should also live as Muslims. We are proud to be a Pakistani.
Some people say that what Pakistan has given them? My question to those people what has they given to Pakistan? Please don't be disappointed. Because disappointment is a worst sin before Allah. So proud to be a Pakistani. The Pakistani people are something to do for Pakistan, not the outsiders something do for Pakistan. We are existing with the existence of Pakistan. We should work hard for the progress of Pakistan. It's the duty of every young person to work hard and make Pakistan a prosperous Country in the world.
